Untitled Goose Game took over the world earlier this year. The mischievous goose and their shenanigans hit home with a lot of gamers who just loved the laid back style of the game, the delightful graphics, and smacking people about the head with rakes.
Untitled Goose Game will be getting a free multiplayer update on September 23. This means you and a friend can sit down and be annoying geese together, the ultimate form of friendship. The multiplayer mode will be local-coop only, so you won’t really be able to play online with other people.
Developer House House has stated that you will be able to avail of some streaming services to take advantage of online multiplayer. For example, Steam’s Remote Play Together, or PlayStation 4’s Share Play. This is great news, as services like these have given a new lease of life to games focused on local multiplayer and couch coop play.
The maximum number of players will be two, so you can pick your best friend and act badly together in a small idyllic town while you steal people’s slippers and destroy their gardens.
This is likely to be the last update and DLC for the smash indie title, and thankfully it is free, a little gift from House House to all the Untitled Goose Game fans out there who propelled the game to such success. Hopefully, this means they can move on to the next adventure for the surly goose, and we can get a sequel.
