Before answering this question, I would like to inform you that you get the option to select the Difficulty Level only at the start of the game. You cannot change the Difficulty Level of the game mid-way. If you want to change the Difficulty Level mid-way, then the only way to do that is to start the game all over again.

There are three difficulty levels available in the Kingdom Hearts 3; “Standard, Proud, and Beginner.” One of the significant differences between the three difficulty levels is the amount of damage you do to the enemies and the amount of damage you take from the enemies. In Proud Difficulty Level of Kingdom Hearts 3, you receive more damage from enemies and do less damage to them.

Beginner Difficulty [Damage Received vs. Damage Given]

In Beginner Difficulty Level of Kingdom Hearts 3, you do more damage to enemies and receive less damage from them.

Standard Difficulty Level [Damage Received vs. Damage Given]

In Standard Difficulty Level of Kingdom Hearts 3, the Damage Received vs. Damage Given ratio is the same.

How Many Lucky Emblems Are Required To Unlock Secret Ending/Movie?

If you have selected the Beginner Difficulty Mode, then you will be required to collect/find 90 Lucky Emblems to unlock the Secret Ending.

For Standard Difficulty level, the figure is a little less, 60. For Proud Difficulty Level, you will have to collect 30 Lucky Emblems to unlock the secret ending.

We recommended you to select Standard Difficulty mode for your very first playthrough. You will be able to learn and master the controls quickly, and overall experience will be challenging but not too difficult.

Proud Mode is for those who are well aware of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The enemies you will be facing in this mode will be tough to beat, but it is via this mode only that you will be able to unlock the secret ending quickly.
