A guide to choose between the different editions of Kingdom Hearts III (Standard Edition, Deluxe Editions, and pre-order bonuses).
Many of you have already pre-ordered a Kingdom Hearts III copy. We wrote this guide for those who haven’t done it yet — indicating the differences between each Standard and Deluxe Edition and the various pre-orders available, to let you choose.
Standard Edition | Retailer Pre-Order Bonuses
This edition of the game, as the term suggests, has no particular additional elements that characterize it. However, there is the possibility of obtaining other components by carefully selecting the retailer from which to purchase the game.
- Official Square Enix Storefront – Ordering any physical copy of Kingdom Hearts III will give you a sticker set.
- GameStop – With any pre-order, you’ll earn an exclusive fabric poster.
- Amazon – Pre-Orderers will receive the Dawn Till Dusk Keyblade DLC
- Best Buy – You will earn one of the 11 themed mystery 3D characters’ keyrings
Deluxe Editions | Bonuses
Adding just 20$ to the cost of the game (for a total amount of 80$) you could get the Deluxe edition.
Perks it adds are:
- A full-color artbook
- A special Stellbook case
- A collectible Pin
Please note that Deluxe Edition still qualifies for pre-order bonuses.
There is still another possibility as regards the Deluxe Editions: the one with Bring Arts figures. It is exclusive of the Square Enix Storefront and, at the original content of the Deluxe edition, adds three six inches’ tall special figures of Sora, Donalds, and Goofy (Donald will be just for inches tall). They’re all from the Toy Story world and are toy-like articulated to let you place them into various poses.
You are spoiled for choice: go and choose wisely (with the help of our guide, of course).
