Lost Ark Seaswept Woods Quest Chain guide

Lost Ark players have Mokoko friends in ankle-height places.

After having emerged victorious at the battle of Luterra Castle and taken up the daunting task of retrieving all seven Arks, Lost Ark players are pointed to the island continent of Tortoyk in search of the next Ark. First disembarking their personal ships, expecting to find cities and civilization, players are often surprised to find a population of tiny Mokoko dwarves, each rumoring of a so-called Mokoko Village lying deeper within the jungle.

Adventurers looking for work should rest assured, however, as these Mokoko are just as in need of able-bodied adventurer help as the humans of Luterra were. The Mokoko are quick to accept humans who lend a hand to those in need.

One such Mokoko, Pastata, is rather fearful of humans, as a band of human pirates have captured several Mokoko in the area. While anthrophobic, he’d trust the player if they offered to help his friends.

After asking around the local Mokoko crowd, Posaka and Pokura will reveal that the kidnapped Mokoko are being held in a pirate camp to the north. Should the player be daring enough to fight their way through cutlass and blunderbuss-toting marauders, the various lobster cages in their area can be interacted with and unlocked, setting the captive Mokoko free.

After having battled through the Red Mist Conquest and saved Mokamoka from the pirates therein, the player then proceeds north to a Mokoko man named Dakudaku. He, while fleeing the pirate invasion with his family, lost his daughter in the nearby river’s current, and tasks the player with tracking her whereabouts downstream.

The player’s search for Dakudaku’s daughter will lead to a bridge crossing the northern section of the river, all without showing any sign of her. Fortunately, a crowd of similarly displaced Mokoko have gathered nearby.

Of this group, Duriduri suggests that the missing Mokoko might be somewhere along the northern side of the winding river, prompting further searches to the west. Venturing further northwest, the player will discover a discarded Mokoko bag, leading in the direction of a rocky river outcrop to the north.

A Hand in Need

Smismi, a Mokoko bystander, spots a Mokoko child stuck precariously on a stone in the middle of the river. The player’s long human legs make them the only one capable of jumping from rock to rock in order to rescue the small child.

Given only a minute before she’s swept away by the current, the player leaps and bounds their way to Matimati, Dakudaku’s lost daughter, before retrieving her and carrying her back to dry land. Relieved, Matimati extends an invitation for the player to enter the hidden Mokoko Village, allowing them to progress further toward finding Tortoyk’s Ark.
