Any trainers who play Pokémon Go know that they need to travel the world if they want to complete their in-game Pokédex.
It’s amazing, at least to this writer, that Pokémon Go is still as hugely popular today as it was when it was first released, three years ago. Don’t get me wrong; I understand that Pokémon is a huge deal, but I honestly thought that Pokémon Go would be nothing more than a flash in the pan fad that people would get bored stupid with after about a month or so.
Oh boy, was I wrong?
As it’s still going strong and there are plenty of you who are willing to go and catch them all, all over the world, then it only seems to make sense that it’s about time that we took a look at all the region exclusive Pokémon that you can find across the globe.
Generation one region-exclusive Pokémon
Farfetch’d
This leek carrying little guy can only be caught in Asia. Which is weird as the leek would suggest Wales.
Kangaskhan
With a pouch and looking like an armored kangaroo then it’s no surprise that Kangaskhan is currently exclusive to the Oceania region.
Mr. Mime
I hate mime’s, they freak me out, so imagine how happy I was to find out this freaky bloke is hanging out in Europe. The place where I live.
Tauros
This bull can be found in North America. Please insert own jokes about America being full of bull.
Generation two region-exclusive Pokémon
Heracross
Is it me or does this little fella look like a dustbin attempting to swallow a fish? Well, whatever they’re doing you can find them in Central and South America.
Corsola
I always thought Corsola used to play for Arsenal, proves what I know. Anyway, you can find him/her in the tropics, specifically along the equator.
Generation three region-exclusive Pokémon
Zangoose
This angry looking Pokémon can be found in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Seviper
Seviper can be found in North America, South America, and Africa. So go get that snake.
Relicanth
You can find this stonefish in New Zealand.
Lunatone
What in the hell is that? Well, as long as you’re in Europe, Asia, or Australia, you can find out.
Solrock
Best friends with Lunatone (Oh, sun and moon, now I get it!) you can find Solrock in North America, South America, and Africa.
Volbeat
I don’t like mimes, and I hate bugs. This nightmare fuel can be found in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Illumise
More bugs, more nightmares for yours truly. Find it in North America, South America, and Africa.
Tropius
Seemingly made of palm tree leafs, you can find Tropius in Africa.
Torkoal
A steam-punk turtle that can only be found in India and South Asia.
Generation four region-exclusive Pokémon
Pachirisu
This happy chappy can be found in Russia, Alaska, and Canada.
Shellos
The pink version can be found west of the Meridian Line and the blue one to the east.

Find this little gem in North America, South America, and Greenland.
