Pokémon: Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s GO Eevee are changing the meaning of “park” in a huge way.
What is the GO Park?
Think of the GO Park complex as your personal Pokémon petting zoo. Once you have selected Pokémon for your GO Park, you can go to the GO Park and interact with your Pokémon that are visiting. You can have up to 20 GO Parks with 50 Pokémon in each GO Park, giving you a total of 1,000 Pokémon you can have in your GO Park.
How to Transfer Pokémon to GO Park
To bring Pokémon to the GO Park is simple. Link your Pokémon: Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s GO Eevee account to your Pokémon GO account. Once you are linked, just follow the prompted instructions to transfer Pokémon.
You will be able to link multiple Pokémon GO accounts to a single Pokémon: Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s GO Eevee save file, meaning family and friends can transfer Pokémon to your save file. Transferring Pokémon will earn you rewards in Pokémon GO. Be warned that once a Pokémon is transferred from Pokémon GO to Let’s GO, it cannot be moved back.
Play Yard
The GO Park complex will have an area called the Play Yard where you can challenge yourself in a special mini-game. This mini-game will require you to have 25 of the same species of Pokémon. In the mini-game, you’ll lead your pack of Pokémon into goal area within a time limit.
To get the herd of Pokémon to follow you, you have to get close enough to them to notice you. Once they start following you, you may encounter obstacles. If you manage to bump into these obstacles, your Pokémon will run away scared. Avoid the obstacles and get your Pokémon into the goal area within three minutes to earn Candies.
Using Candies
Candies are used in the world of Let’s GO to power up your Pokémon in a variety of ways. Some candy may only affect certain Pokémon. You can use candies to increase HP, Attack, Speed, and other stats.
You can acquire candy in several different ways. You can earn candies by completing mini-games in the Play Yard of the GO Park, transferring Pokémon to Professor Oak to assist in his research, or transferring a Pokémon to the Pokéball Plus and taking your Pokémon for a walk.
Alolan Pokémon
In addition to transferring your Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Let’s GO, any Pokémon that has an Alolan form can be transferred to the GO Park. If you haven’t been able to acquire the Alolan forms in Pokémon GO, special visitors from the Alola Region will visit your GO Park and will be more than happy to trade Alolan forms you don’t have.
Pokémon: Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s GO Eevee will undoubtedly keep you busy with the GO Park and all of the activities you will be able to do. Pokémon: Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s GO Eevee release on November 16 for the Nintendo Switch.
