The best locations to farm Fowl in Genshin Impact

Fowl in an important food resource in Genshin Impact, and is used in many different recipes and as a required quest item for certain tasks. If you need to get your hands on lots of it, and fast, then this guide will show you where to go.

The first thing to know about fowl is that you will need a bow user to farm it. It is difficult to close enough to birds to kill them without using a bow, as they fly away if you get too close. Any bow user will do, but Ganyu is excellent thanks to the extra area-of-effect cause by her charged shot.

The best farm spots are all located in Mondstadt, making them accessible right from the start of the game. The bridge outside Mondstadt will regularly have 6-7 birds on it, yielding 10-14 pieces of fowl, and more can be found at the crossroads at the end of the bridge.

After that, head to Windrise, where lots of birds can be found on the pond, the shores of the pond, and just north of the Statue of the Seven. With care, you can get 20+ pieces of fowl here without any difficulty.

If players really feel the need to load up on fowl, it can be purchased from Draff, the Head of the Hunters at Springvale. It can also be earned as a reward from Expeditions, or as random chest loot.
