Immortals Fenyx Rising

The best skills and Godly Powers in Immortal Fenyx Rising

Where to invest.

There are lots of different skills to choose from in Immortals Fenyx Rising, and a few Godly Powers as well. In this guide, we will run through some of the best places to invest your Coins of Charon, the resource you will need to upgrade your various abilities.

Recommended Videos

We will start with the Godly Powers, then move on to the skills, but keep in mind that these are just recommendations, you should always go with what you feel happiest with, and what suits your playstyle.

Godly Powers

We would suggest unlocking all the God Powers. They are all useful in their own way, but some of them are worth investing in more than others.

Ares’s Wrath

Ares’s Wrath is one of the best abilities in the game, especially when you upgrade it fully. It will do huge area-of-effect damage, knock smaller enemies into the air, and will rapidly stack up stun on anything that it hits. We would suggest you get all three upgrades for this ability.

Athena’s Dash

Athena’s Dash is a fantastic ability to both damage enemies, and rapidly reposition in a busy fight. If you are struggling with some of the later Vaults in the game, you can upgrade this ability to become immune to laser damage during it.

Herakles’s Strength

When fighting flying bosses, there is an upgrade for Herakles’s Strength that is basically essential. Herakles’s Leap will allow you to grapple to enemies that are flying, getting you within sword range and giving you the chance to do plenty of damage. The Heavy Lifitng is a must for some Vaults, as it will make your life much easier to carry heavier items rather than push them.

Skills

Enhanced Dodge

While all the Dodge skill upgrades are importnat, Enhanced Dodge is a must for busy fights so you can avoid the animation reset after three dodges in the later game.

Air Dodge

You can find the Air Dodge under your Jump skills. This is vital, as combos might end up with you being airborn while an enemy is going for a charged attack. Rather than float there and eat damage, this will you to dodge out of the way.

Power Strike Finisher

This will give you a second three hit finisher to your main sword combo, which stacks very well with armor and weapons that give bonuses to finisher damage. The finisher will also stagger large enemies, and return half of a stamina chunk.

Sword and Ax Sprint Attack

Being able to instantly attack from sprinting is extremely useful, as you can run into a fight and instantly put out some big damage, and get stamina back. The more stamina you have, the more abilities you can use.

Marksman

Marksman will give you 100% extra damage to heads shots from your bow, which is not to be sniffed at.

Glide Boost

This allows you to glide faster, while using less stamina, and is a superb improvement to travesing the map.
