The best Titan Exotics in Destiny 2 – Season of Arrivals

Punch fate in the face.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Titans in Destiny 2 are often the butt of some jokes over how simple the class is to play. You run forward, punch things, then level everything with your Super. There is a little more nuance to it than that, as good Titan players will tell you. Part of the nuance is your build, and which Exotic you place your faith in. In this guide, we will run through some great Exotic options for Titans.

An Insurmountable Skullfort

An Insurmountable Skullfort

An Insurmountable Skullfort has just been a good time in Destiny since it was first introduced to the game. As a Titan, you generally enjoy punching people and are willing to risk life and limb to make that happen. This Exotic will heal you, and fully replenish your melee energy if you get a kill with an Arc melee ability. This means you can endless melee lesser enemies, and even other Guardians in the Crucible into oblivion, and as long as you get that kill, it will just reset again.

You can get this Exotic from Exotic Engrams, or from Xur.

Heart of Inmost Light

Heart of Inmost Light

The Heart of Inmost Light will give you faster regeneration of abilities, greater melee damage, more grenade damage, and stronger barricades when you use an ability, making it a pretty interesting and strong Exotic. It is reasonably rare for an Exotic to give so many potential bonuses, which makes this one a strong all-around choice for any Titan class or subclass.

Synthoceps

Synthoceps

Synthoceps will give you greater range on your melee attacks, which is an important advantage in PvP. It will also give you increase damage when you are surrounded, so when two or more enemies are close to you. Synthcopes lives or dies based on your build, so we would recommend the Code of the Juggernaut with this to take advantage of that extra damage potential.

One-Eyed Mask

One-Eyed Mask

While the One-Eyed Mask is no longer incredibly overpowered, it is still a great PvP Exotic. Any enemy that damages you will be marked, giving you an instant advantage when it comes to engaging in what would be a blind gunfight. Killing that marked enemy will then give you an overshield, and an increase in your damage output.

Helm of Saint-14

Helm of Saint-14

The Helm of Saint-14 allows your Ward of Dawn to blind enemies that enter it. Guarding with Sentinel Shield temporarily blinds nearby enemies. The Ward of Dawn is an exceptionally strong Super, providing great protection to your entire team, and the Helm of Saint-14 just adds to it.

Doom Fang Pauldron

Doom Fang Pauldron

The Doom Fang Pauldron is badly undersold by the description in the game. The Horns of Doom perk will allow Void melee kills to give Super energy, while also improving your Sentinel Shield. What it actually does is allow you melee kills to recharge your shield throw when your Super is active, allowing you to absolutely spam melee, shield throws, and whatever else you want to do as you endless regenerate your Super energy.
