Warframe – How To Get The Paracyst, Paracyst Zebra Skin

WIth the new Gift of the Lotus Paracyst skin being available, lots of people are curious about this weapon. In this guide we show you how to get it, and what it does.

Warframe has recently seen more Gifts From The Lotus arrive in the game. One of them is the Paracyst Zebra Skin, which means many people are wondering how to get the Paracyst weapon. The Paracyst is an Infested version of the Quanta and is a Primary weapon in the Rifle class. It does innate Toxin damage and comes with a high-status chance of 30%. It can also fire in its standard mode, or as an Infested Harpoon. Depending on where you are in the game, you will have seen this weapon used by a boss.

How To Get The Paracyst

To get your hands on the Paracyst, you need to buy the Blueprint for it from the Bio Lab in the Dojo. It is available from the Market for Platinum, but if you are not part of a Clan, I would advise you to join one and get it from their Dojo instead. The Blueprint costs 50,000 Credits from the Dojo and requires the following components to build in the Foundry.

• 30,000 Credits
• 5 Mutagen Mass
• 15,000 Nano Spores
• 1,200 Circuits
• 1 Forma

To get the Paracyst Zebra Skin, all you need to do is go Navigation, then Alerts, and scroll down to the new Gifts of the Lotus section. You have about a week to get this mission done before it disappears!

Paracyst Full Stats

The full stats of the Paracyst, for both fire modes, are shown below. The weapon has a Mastery Rank of 7, an accuracy of 50, and a 60 round magazine. Max ammo count that be carried is 540 rounds, and it has a reload time of 2 seconds.

Normal Attacks

• Damage – 33 Toxin Damage
• Burst Fire Count – 3, meaning 99 total damage per burst.
• Crit Chance – 10%
• Crit Multiplier – 2x
• Status Chance – 30%

Infested Harpoon

• Damage – 33 Toxin Damage
• Crit Chance – 10%
• Crit Multiplier – 2x
• Status Chance – 30%

It is a good idea to stack Dual Stat mods on the Paracyst, as it can reach 100% Status Chance if you do this, which guarantees a status proc with each round. Like all burst fire weapons, it is a reasonably high skill weapon, as missed shots tend to mean that you miss with 100% of the possible damage output.
