When does fruit respawn in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The taste of nature.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Fruit is extremely useful in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can eat it to make you strong enough to break rocks, sell it for Bells, or even turn it into furniture and items. When you first arrive on your island, you will have one type of fruit native to that particular island, but there are ways to get other types of fruit.

Fruit will grow in groups of three on the trees all over your island, and you can knock it off by standing close to the tree and hitting the A button to shake it. Pick up the fruit with the Y button and it will be added to your inventory.

But when does the fruit grow back? Native fruits will take three days to grow back on your trees, but the good news is that there are enough trees on your island that some of them will always have fruit, be careful not to cut too many of them down. If you want more trees, you can plant them, or even move the ones you already have if you would prefer not to cut them down, but need space for other things.
