Fallout 76 will have Seasons starting in 2020.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Seasons are arriving in Fallout 76, announced by Bethesda in their new roadmap for 2020. These seasons are broken up over some time for players to complete them and work their way through the game. As you progress through a season, you’ll receive additional rewards for your trouble, exclusive to that season.

Season One for Fallout 76 arrives with Update 20. The season features 100 unique levels you will work through, and each level comes with an additional award for your hard work. You want to complete all 100-levels to successfully complete Season One with all of the available rewards.

These rewards include unique outfits, items for your C.A.M.P, weapon skins, Power Armor paint, consumables, Perk Card Packs, Atoms, or one of the many in-game currencies, and much more. Your progression is displayed on a gameboard, likely with a unique skin for the game board for that season.

To progress through Season One, you need to rank up your S.C.O.R.E. You can earn additional S.C.O.R.E by completing in-game activities, one of the daily or weekly challenges, or spend 150 Atoms to level up your S.C.O.R.E.

At the time of this writing, Update 20 does not have a direct release date. We do know it’ll be out for Fallout 76‘s summer release, so you can expect it sometime during June or July, but we don’t have an exact date. Once we do, we’ll update this guide to reflect this information.

You do not have to purchase Season One. It will be available to all players for free, along with any additional Seasons released after it in the future.
