While it could easily be argued that Ghost Recon Breakpoint did not land as well with fans as Ubisoft expected, the developers have been hard at work trying to turn the game into something that will appeal a little more to fans of the first game.
Title Update 2.1.0 is expected to turn around the fortunes of the game by introducing multiple new systems and changes to win back players who were driven away by the game’s unfortunate focus on social aspects.
Ubisoft has announced that the update will arrive in the middle of July but has not announced an exact release date yet. Various improvements and changes that were expected in TU 2.0.5 have been moved into the TU 2.1.0 update, as the release of 2.0.5 was delayed due to ongoing global pandemic.
Now, both updates will arrive as one giant update, bringing some important changes with it. The game will finally get some AI teammates up first so that solo players can have some backup when they are out on missions. The update will also feature a multitude of bug fixes and quality of life changes, and update for the Gunsmith, a PvP update, and more.
- The release of the AI teammates
- Bug Fixing + Quality of Life updates
- Our next Gunsmith update
- PvP Update
- All planned fixes from TU 2.0.5, including a fix for the current reproduction steps of the DMR exploit
We will update this article with an exact release date for Title Update 2.1.0 as soon as Ubisoft makes that information available.
