When is the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release for Control Ultimate Edition?
Control Ultimate Edition has finally received a release date for next-gen consoles. The game will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X digitally on February 2, 2021. However, fans who wish to purchase a physical copy will have to wait a little longer. A tweet from the official Remedy Twitter account confirmed that physical versions of Control Ultimate Edition won’t be available until March 2, 2021.
The next-gen edition will support a 60 FPS Performance mode and a 30 FPS Graphics mode, the latter of which comes with Ray Tracing automatically enabled. No price point has been revealed for the digital or retail versions.
What is the PC launch date for Control Ultimate Edition?
Control Ultimate Edition will arrive on Steam for PC worldwide on Thursday, August 27. This coincides with the game’s one-year anniversary, and the launch of the game’s AWE expansion. For those of you who buy your games through the Epic Games Store, you will have to wait until Thursday, September 10, to add this to your library. Control Ultimate Edition will cost $39.99 (£29.99) from either store.
When is the PS4 and Xbox One release for Control Ultimate Edition?
Control Ultimate Edition will be available to purchase on PS4 and Xbox One on Thursday, September 10. It will cost the same price as the PC version too. As for when a physical version of Control Ultimate Edition will launch for consoles, there is no release date announced just yet.
Gamers who purchase the Control Ultimate Edition PS4 or Xbox One ports will automatically receive a free upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series X when those next-gen consoles launch later this year.
