Where is the Enclave in Fallout 76? This guide will help you find the Fallout 76 Enclave location along with how to start the Fallout 76 Enclave quest.
Even though Fallout 76 doesn’t have any human NPCs, there are still some factions you can join. One of these is the infamous Enclave, first seen in Fallout 2. The Enclave is an organization comprised of ancestors of the U.S. Government, and they’re known for their ruthless approach. The Fallout 76 Enclave is hiding out in an underground bunker, and while you don’t interact with any humans, there’s a lengthy quest and some tough enemies to tackle along the way. Let us answer the question: Where is the Enclave in Fallout 76?
Where is the Enclave in Fallout 76? Enclave Location – Fallout 76
The Fallout 76 Enclave location is near Whitespring Resort. That’s the enormous golf course and clubhouse near the center of Appalachia, north-east from Uncanny Caverns and directly east from Charleston. More specifically, the Enclave is inside the Whitespring Bunker, which is inside the Whitespring Resort grounds. That answers the question “Where is the Enclave in Fallout 76?” but it doesn’t tell you how to get to them.
How do I start the Enclave quest? Enclave Location – Fallout 76
To begin your journey with the Enclave, you don’t need to be anywhere near Whitespring Resort. You’re looking for the vaguely named Abandoned Waste Dump, found in the far eastern side of the map, in a region called The Mire. The Abandoned Waste Dump is east of the river running parallel to Route 65 – place your marker as shown in the image above, north of the fork in the river and south-west of the image of two Radstag Deer.
When you get to the Abandoned Waste Dump, head inside and be on your guard. Two Deathclaws have made their home here; one in the caverns to the left of the main entrance and one to the right. When we arrived, one was patrolling while the other was sleeping. They’re tough, but you can cheese the fight by luring them back to the entrance after getting their attention. After being unable to hit you a few times, they’ll retreat to their area. Chase one, shoot it again, lure it back to the entrance so it can’t hit you, rinse and repeat.
Once the Deathclaws are cleared from the area, head to your left and explore the caverns. You’ll find a dead Enclave soldier with a quest item on him that allows you to activate the elevator and descend to the bunker. From then on, the quest is relatively straightforward. Explore everything in the bunker then once the Bunker Buster quest is complete, head back to Whitespring Resort. We won’t spoil the rest of the quest for you since it’s an awesome one to experience for yourselves, just know that you need to start at the Abandoned Waste Dump.
