There are a total of seven Hidden Chamber of Odin doors scattered across the world of God of War and this guide shows you their location, complete with detailed screenshots.
There’s lots to do in God of War, not the least of which is trying to complete a variety of Labors, the game’s version of collectibles. If you’ve had a look at our God of War Guide Hub, you’ll know that there are many of these type of activities to pursue. Finding and opening seven Hidden Chamber of Odin doors are among those, and this guide will give you a leg up on locating them.
Hidden Chamber of Odin Locations
Before you get too eager exploring and heading to each of the following locations, you should know that you cannot open these doors until a certain part of the story. For more details on that, visit our How to Open Hidden Chamber of Odin Doors guide.
Wildwoods Hidden Chamber of Odin
This is the first door you might encounter, as it is located near the end of the initial deer hunt that Kratos and Atreus embark on.
Foothills Hidden Chamber of Odin
Along the path due south in the Foothills, take the right fork instead of the left towards the mountain.
Lake of Light Hidden Chamber of Odin
This hidden chamber is located at the Light Elf Shore inside the left cave tunnel.
The Mountain Hidden Chamber of Odin
Look inside the mine room with the giant claw on the right side of the room.
The River Pass Hidden Chamber of Odin
Inside the Witch’s Cave behind some tree sap where the third rune for a Nornir Chest is.
Thamur’s Corpse Hidden Chamber of Odin
This door is located at the north dock. Note that there are three more doors in this area that don’t seem to count as an official Hidden Chamber of Odin. They are listed below.
Other Sealed Doors
If you’ve been counting along, I’ve only listed six of the Hidden Chamber of Odin doors above. That’s because I’m still looking for number seven. To confuse things more, I’ve come across several other doors that are protected by the same magic seal. These do not lead to Hidden Chambers of Odin, but I’m going to list them anyway.
Lake of Nine
Once you can reach the Light Elf Outpost in the Lake of Nine, you’ll find another sealed door here.
Tyr’s Temple
The two doors at the bottom level on the outer ring of Tyr’s Temple must be unsealed similar to a Hidden Chamber of Odin door, but are part of the main story. You will eventually open these.
Thamur’s Corpse
1. Found just inside the cave.
2. Located inside the dining hall.
3. This is in fact the very first door whose seal you get to break after acquiring the tool to do so. You’ll come across this in the main story quest.
That’s all the sealed doors in God of War and their locations. Some of them lead to a Hidden Chamber of Odin, some of those chambers have Valkyries in them.
