Twin Mirror, at its heart, is a game about remembering. Sam’s return to his hometown of Basswood brings plenty of memories back for the investigative journalist, and it happens that some of those memories are tied to two achievements or trophies.
You can unlock A Blast from the Past for finding one memory and Cherish Your Memories for discovering all eight. When you encounter one, tap the A or cross button on your Xbox or PlayStation controller to enter the Mind Palace and watch the memory. You must find them all in the same playthrough for the second achievement to pop.
If you miss any, you can use the scene selection mode, which unlocks after you complete the story, to restart the game from a specific point. Any progress from these checkpoints onwards is reset, so you can go hunting for collectibles you missed on your first playthrough.
Spyglass
During the game’s Prologue, you head to Basswood’s lookout point and have to interact with the Spyglass. This reveals Sam’s Mind Palace for the first time.
Jukebox
At the Coal Miner’s Haven pub. During Nick’s wake, head to the back right wall. You will find a Jukebox next to a Pac-Man arcade machine.
Photograph
After speaking to Kathy at the wake, approach Nick’s photograph memorial. Before you pin your image on the board, run your thumbstick over it to discover another memory.
Card Game
At Cafe Americano in Basswood’s town center. Enter, and you will be greeted by cafe owner Cristina, who has dropped some board games. Kneel down to pick them up but, before you do, look at the Card Game option to see another memory.
For Sale Sign
Outside Anna’s house. Walk left past the gazebo and towards her garage. Look for a sign on the floor and interact with it to pick it up.
Desk
Inside Anna’s living room. Head to the back right wall to find her desk. It’s underneath some framed posters and has other prompts, such as medical bills, on it.
Bed
Upstairs in Anna’s house. Turn right at the top of the stairs to enter Joan’s room. Approach the bed to unlock another memory.
Broken Rod
The final memory is outside Nick’s fishing shack. Don’t cross the boardwalks just yet when you arrive. Instead, head left towards a cold campfire and a tree stump. The rod is propped up by the stump.
