A good majority of Fortnite‘s new Season 3 map has water covering it, making it difficult to not to encounter some form of aquatic life in the game. Homely Hills is a location in Fortnite‘s Season 3 you will want to become familiar with and know like the back of your hand.
Homely Hills is likely one of the few areas in the game that still feels a bit normal. It contains several homes in a small neighborhood and a park with a covered area for public gatherings, barbeques, and dirt pathways winding throughout it. If you were only to visit this location, you’d think everything was the same, and nothing out of the ordinary had happened. But as soon as you break away from here, the distorted reality of Fortnite sets in, and you’re back to flood maps and giant sharks.
The Homely Hills location is a decent starting area for players looking to gather some gear before heading out to the rest of the map. It’s to the north of Pleasant Park, which has been nearly submerged entirely in water. After visiting Homely Hills, Pleasant Park is the next great destination to visit after obtaining enough gear to hold your own against any opponents.
The first week’s challenge has you finding three Gnomes hidden around the small neighborhood. You can expect to visit Homely Hills regularly to complete challenges each week in the new season of Fortnite.
