Yanfei is a character that is rumored to be arriving in Genshin Impact 1.5, which is scheduled for the end of April. The information in this guide is currently based on leaks provided by dataminer AEEntrophy.
Yanfei will apparently be a Pyro Catalyst user, making her the first Pyro Catalyst user in the game.
Attacks
- Normal Attack – shoots Pyro fireballs that grant her Scarlet Seal on impact. Scarlet Seal can stack up to three times, decreasing her Stamina consumption.
- Charged Attack – Consumes all Scarlet Seals to do AoE damage to her opponents. Damage increases based on the number of Seals consumed.
- Plunging Attack – deals AoE Pyro damage on impact.
Skills
Element Skill – Signed Edict
Summons blistering flames that deal AOE Pyro damage. Opponents hit by the flames grant Yanfei the maximum number of Scarlet Seals.
Elemental Burst – Done Deal
Triggers a spray of intense flames that rush at nearby opponents, dealing AoE Pyro damage, granting maximum Scarlet Seals.
Passives
Proviso
When Yanfei consumes Scarlet Seals through heavy hits, each Scarlet Seal increases Yanfei’s Pyro damage by 5% for six seconds. The effect does not stack.
Xiezhi’s Eye
When Yanfei’s charged attacks deal critical hits, she will deal an additional instance of AOE Pyro damage equal to 80% of her attack. This damage counts as charged attack damage.

- The Law Knows No Kindness – When Yanfei uses her charged attack, each existing Scarlet Seal also reduces the stamina cost of the charged attack by 10% and increases her interruption resistance.
- Right of Final Interpretation – Increases Yanfei’s charged attack critical rate by 20% against enemies below 50% HP.
- Samadhi Fire-Forged: Increases the level of Signed Edict by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Supreme Amnesty – When Done Deal is used, gain the following effects.
- Done Deal creates a shield that absorbs up to 75% of Yanfei’s maximum HP for 15 seconds. This shield absorbs Pyro damage 250% more effectively.
- Legal Cheat Sheet – Increases the level of Done Deal by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Extra Clause – Increases the maximum number of Scarlet Seals by one.
