CD Projekt has provided a series of interesting information about Cyberpunk 2077, and its upcoming projects during the conference for financial results and strategy. The Witcher was also a part of the conference, of course, with over 20 million copies spanning across the entire franchise.
Furthermore, 2016 will be an occasion for the studio to explore “a new type of video game format”, while in 2017-2021 another AAA RPG will be launched – we think after Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be also releasing between 2017 and 2021, and according to CEO Adam Badowski “we aren’t a long way away from the premiere”. In this time window, four individual teams will also be created in support of the “expansion of core franchises with additional media content and product lines”.
Talking about CDPR itself, share price has increased by 353% in the last 4 years and the Polish developer & publisher will be buying back shares in the future to have a stronger position.
