Game Director confirms God of War will not have any season pass, gamers will have to wait and play the game to see how amazing it is.
PS4 exclusive God Of War will not have any Season Pass. The update is shared by Game Director Cory Barlog on twitter. The PS4 Season pass offers extra services to those who pay extra for it. You will be first to get the game content before it is released to the world. Also, there are certain discounts that only Season Pass holders can have access to. Cory Barlog said there will be no Season Pass. For the story, he further added that gamers will have to wait and play the game to see how well it is. He also mentioned that he finished another play-through recently and it is still awesome.

Atreus who is Kratos son debus with this new series, as a mentor his father guides him to survive in the hostile world of gods and mothers.
No season pass. As for the story questions – you will have to wait and play the game to see how it all shakes out. I just finished another play-through last night around midnight and it was still awesome! I’m totally biased, though.

God of War 2018 will have a different gameplay compared to its predecessors. The game is rebuilt from scratch so there will lot of new things gamers will see. The game is single-player only and features RPG elements. There is also change the core content where previous installments were based on Greek mythology, this new edition will take us to the world of Norse legends. It is also possible that we might be able to see an Egyptian or Mayan era in the game.
The game release is scheduled this year, but a release date is not yet announced. Sony hints the game will not be delayed to 2019.
