Pete Hines explains why Elder Scrolls VI will not release in 2018 because Bethesda Game Studios is working on 2 Other Big AAA-multi-platform projects before Elder Scrolls VI.
Back in mid-2017, Bethesda’s Pete Hines clarified multiple times that the next Elder Scrolls game, Elder Scrolls VI will not release anytime soon as the studio is busy working on other projects and they have a lot on their plate to finish first i.e. multiple projects are already in development at Bethesda Studios which needs to be completed first before moving on to the Elder Scrolls VI. Even after clarifying these things in clear words way back in 2017, the Elder Scrolls community continues to ask the question about Elder Scrolls 6 release window.
On February 3, A fan asked Pete Hines: Even Red dead redemption 2 launch date confirmed. But still no news on this 6, why? I want answer @DCDeacon.
This time around Pete Hines was more clear about after how many projects Bethesda could afford to talk about Elder Scrolls 6. Hines replied: “Cause BGS has two other big games it is going to do first.”

Those were largely done by other studios so that the team could focus on new projects.

This means it will be possible for Bethesda Studios to talk about Elder Scrolls 6 after two big projects that they currently have in work. What could these 2 Projects be? the new Fallout game definitely does not come in this because Fallout 4 was released after Skyrim, so there is no possibility that Bethesda is working on a new Fallout game before Elder Scrolls 6.
