There is a rumor on the internet that Kingdom Hearts III release date reveal is a plan for E3 2018, but Square Enix has debunked the report in a recent interview stating nothing of this sort is planned.
Kingdom Hearts III fans need to keep their hope in check as far as the release date announcement is concerned. Recently, there was a report (carried by multiple video game media outlets) on the Internet that Square Enix will announce a release date of Kingdom Hearts III at E3 2018, it went viral pretty quickly, but the truth is the information is not at all true and it has been officially debunked by the publisher Square Enix.
The user who started the rumor was in fact just predicting based on the fact that as the release date of Kingdom Hearts III is not announced at D23 Expo, it might get reveal at E3 2018. Our friend at DualShockers got in touch with a Square Enix executive who confirmed that the only thing officially confirmed for Kingdom Hearts III as far as release date is concerned is the year “2018”.
However, we still would like to clarify that Square Enix debunked the report from the users, this doesn’t mean that there won’t be a reveal of the exact release date at E3 2018, who knows Square Enix has planned this surprise well in advance for the biggest gaming event of the year?
Kingdom Hearts III has been in development for a very long time. It was officially at E3 2013 for PlayStation 4. Was this a long development time already planned or happened just by chance? According to the Tetsuya Nomura, the long development time for Kingdom Hearts III “Just Happened“.
