CD Projekt Red Community Manager has announced that HDR Patch for PS4 Pro version of The Witcher 3 has been delayed because of new bugs that were discovered during the testing phase. Marcin Momot made the announcement via Twitter a few hours ago.
The much anticipated PS4 Pro HDR patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still in the works and coming quite soon, although the development process has been encountering quite a few issues that have slowed it down a lot now.
Community lead Marcin Momot has discussed the matter on Twitter, providing the first details about what’s going on after the original announcement weeks ago, according to which the patch would be coming in a few days.
PS4 Pro HDR patch is still very much in development. Due to the fact that we’ve discovered some additional bugs along the way, we need more time to finish it,” said Momot, detailing the reasons why the patch is being delayed this much.
“We don’t want to compromise the quality of the update, so we would like to ask you for a bit more patience,” he added, although still not providing a solid launch date for the HDR patch on PlayStation 4 Pro. HDR has already been implemented on Xbox One X, together with 4K graphics.

Hopefully, all this work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will allow the developer to implement the technology right away at the launch on Cyberpunk 2077, the much-anticipated role-playing game which should debut at E3 this June.
