Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a real thing. Twitter user Nibel leaked Spyro: Reignited Trilogy vs Original Game comparison screenshots, PS4 and Xbox One version box art, and few in-game screenshots of Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
A new leak from Amazon Mexico allows us to grab some unexpected details about the much anticipated, and yet to be confirmed, Spyro the Dragon remastered trilogy likely coming soon to PlayStation 4.
According to the Amazon listing, the collection is going to be named “Spyro: Reignited Trilogy” and is set to be featuring all the three original Spyro games – Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
The trilogy is reportedly coming complete with “100+ levels, remastered with breathtaking graphical updates and improved gameplay controls,” much like what happened with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Differently from N. Sane Trilogy, though, Reignited Trilogy is being developed at Toys for Bob, the studio known for its work on the Skylanders franchise and the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of the Crash Bandicoot remaster.
Confirming previous rumors, the Spyro remake is said to be coming on September 21 for PS4 at the price of $39,99. Attached to this news you can find the first few screenshots, comparing the original with the remastered edition, and the boxart.
At this point, we’ll be here waiting for an official announcement to come very soon.
