Red Dead Redemption 2 is looking better and better each time it pops up through press coverage and trailers, but there’s still something missing for a big part of the Rockstar Games fans around the world.
Indeed, the title is still lacking a PC version, which is a bit curious if you consider that – even though the original has never reached the platform – Rockstar Games has already unleashed a brilliant port of Grand Theft Auto V over there.
Anyway, something good could be on its way for what matters Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has indeed made it clear that the publisher and the developer really care about the platform.
“I would observe that the PC platform has become a very, very important part of what we do, driven by digital distribution. And that was not the case for so-called ‘console’ titles 10 years ago. And it is the case now,” Zelnick said.
As for the future, he added that the publisher will look into which platform to support depending on the title and the amount of success that it seems possible to achieve with it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is releasing on October 26, 2018 at least initially for PS4 and Xbox One.
