According to the lead character artist at Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout 76 is not going to be something we’ll be disappointed at. This follows the rumors of it being an online survival RPG rather than a new entry in the main series.

Interestingly, he had a chat on Instagram with a fan and reply that “before you destroy your head, wait until you know more about it,” which is basically hinting at the fact that it could be less different than what it is supposed to be now.

“I think you will not be disappointed,” he added, so there’s a big chance that the game is not going to be that different from what we know or distant from the core mechanics we’ve already appreciated in the past chapters of the series.

It should be noted that survival is one of the core features and systems in the Fallout franchise, so – should it be a survival game – Fallout 76 wouldn’t be too far away from the things people have always loved of it.

Most probably, the thing which is going to be very different in comparison with the other games in the series is that it’s featuring a multiplayer component of sorts, although we hear it could be more co-op rather than massive or PvP.

We’ll learn more at E3 2018, of course, where Bethesda kicks off its press conference on June 10.
