Story Team Writer Stanisław Swięcicki has shared few more details about the themes and the motive we’ll meet in the story of Cyberpunk 2077, the much anticipated role-playing game by CD Projekt RED.
According to Swięcicki, the game will be about enhancing humans while trying and retaining what truly identifies people as human. This will be one of the hottest topics in the story, and the one that really makes me hyped about it.
“For me, the most prominent thing is the motive of freedom and identity, of deciding your own path,” the writer told the UK Official PlayStation Magazine, during an interview provided at E3 2018.
“It’s a human need to seek an identity and some people gravitate towards the gangs, and so they look modified they’re still human underneath. This touches upon a universal feeling we all have, the need to belong to a group.”
Cyberpunk 2077 has been finally revealed at E3, although only in private sessions for the press where journalists had a chance to watch CDPR play a pre-alpha demo of the title.
From that demo, we have told you the five things you should know about the game as we’ve learned them during the event. And, despite a few cons, it really looks like it’ll be another masterpiece from the makers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
