Interestingly, according to Ubisoft, the things that will happen throughout the story are going to have an impact not only on the small things during the game but also on the longer run.
“You can have long-term choices where you know you are making a big choice up front, and it could very well have a long-term consequence. And I wish I could give you an example for that… but I won’t,” she told IGN.
On top of that, with Odyssey, Ubisoft is taking some risks and deviating from the original path of the franchise. The title will let you take your choices and do all the different things you like, even if that should take into account killing civilians.
“It’s important to us that when we’re presenting you with choices,” MacCoubrey added, “that we’re not telling you there’s a right or a wrong way to do it, that our choices are overall grey.”
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is releasing on October 5, 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
