Good news, Final Fantasy fans. During the last few hours, an unannounced Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD has popped up on the United Kingdom PlayStation Store.
That’s quite weird because, as you might remember, the game – an episodic chibi reinterpretation of Final Fantasy XV – has only been released for mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems.
Even more weirdly, when you go and click on the icon, the store says that “this content cannot be selected at this time,” hinting that it’ll become… selectable quite shortly in the future.
Could this mean that we might be getting an announcement in a few days or even hours? Well, there’s a great chance this could happen, considering that it’s not a very high profile announcement and it could be leading to an immediate digital launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
I’ve not given the game a try yet, but as I’ve quite appreciated the main Final Fantasy XV title, its story and characters, I’d be happy to check it out if coming at a reasonable price. Do you feel the same?
