Kingdom Hearts III is finally releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019, and as Square Enix wraps up the production of the game, rumors of more versions are starting to pop up.
With Nintendo Switch and especially the PC platforms not supported, those rumors are more than legit and probably involve stuff Square Enix itself is already considering to work on.
The latest rumor from YouTuber Dreamcastguy is all about a possible Nintendo Switch version, which—according to his sources—is something the Japanese developer very interested in.
Of course, this should be taken with a grain of salt, since we don’t know who or what the source of the rumor is. But it’s worth remembering that Square Enix itself mentioned Nintendo Switch as one of the platforms it’ll look into once the title releases.
We don’t know whether the Nintendo Switch currently has what it takes to support Kingdom Hearts III, but as it gets more and more successful, it’s possible that SE will look into a custom-built version to get the game on it.
We’ll update you as soon as more details drop, but in the meantime check the video from Dreamcastguy for other particulars on the rumor. You can find it below.
