Sony has revealed over the last few days that more news about the MediEvil remaster would be coming soon, in a week or two to be precise, and it looks like a full presentation of the game is about to drop.
According to a new rumor, indeed, it seems like the publisher and PS4 platform owner could be spilling all the beans about the game on October 31, when it’s sharing the name and content of this remastered edition.

Based on the information gathered over The Nerd Mag, which also shared a pic that eventually turned out to be a fanart, the remaster is actually a compilation withe MediEvil 1 and 2 called MediEvil Skeletical Collection.
Both the games would be featuring changes in order to “modernize them,” so would apparently not be simple remasters but would be bringing in gameplay turns, and a gameplay trailer would be coming on October 31.
The gameplay trailer would be also featuring a release date, which is reported to be early 2019, so very very soon in terms of how it’s releasing on PlayStation 4.
Sony is said to be aiming to bring the franchise to new fans while appealing the older ones so it can bring the series back for the future; if the collection does well enough, there could even be a third game based on the IP.
We’ll have more details about the game – that was revealed back at PSX 2017, following multiple fake leaks – if the rumor really turns out to be true.
