There were many WoW-themed announcements at this year’s Blizzcon.
Battle for Azeroth: Tides of Vengeance, a new expansion for Battle of Azeroth owners, was just announced at Blizzcon alongside the launch date for WoW Classic.
A new raid was also announced as part of the reveal that will feature different raids for both Alliance and Horde teams, so each allegiance will be able to try out something different.
Blizzard also went into more details on WoW classic during the World of Warcraft segment, which will be available to play on the show floor and through Battle.net for Virtual Ticket owners.
WoW Classic also finally got an official release window. The game is set to release sometime in Summer 2019. WoW Classic will be open to anyone with a WoW subscription and they will not need to pay an extra subscription cost to access the game.
Alongside the announcements, we are also getting a brand new pet called Whomper, a baby yeti you can purchase in game with proceeds supporting charity, and a brand new animation around the new expansion.
