Fans can get their hands on Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch on Sept. 28.

The game is set to release one day after the game’s debut in Japan, and eight months after the title was released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Just like with the other versions of the game, fans who pre-order to title will gain immediate access to SSGSS Goku and Vegeta as playable characters. There’s also a special download, available with the Japanese version, of the classic Super NES game, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden.

The Switch version of the game comes with a host of new modes, such as Extreme Type mode. In this arena, new players will be able to get into the action quicker alongside veterans due to a new simplified button system that allows players to make combos a lot easier then before.

You’ll also be able to transition into powerful techniques with ease, giving everyone an area to just enjoy the game at their leisure without much practice or skill needed. The mode will be making its first appearance at this year’s Evo before the game releases in September.

The DLC fighters for the game, including the four that are already available to the public, will not come bundled in the Switch game and will instead be available as day one purchases. Players will also gain access to the other four future DLC characters at the same time as other systems.

Prices for these characters on the Switch are unknown at this time.
