As we’ve already reported, Sony won’t be at E3 2019 for some reason, which is seemingly hinting at the possibility that plans for PS5 are well in motion.

In a conversation with Game Informer, PlayStation senior vice president of communications Jennifer Clark added some interesting information about the games in the making for PS4.

Those will apparently be coming next year, despite the lack of a presence of the company at E3 2019, as they’re approaching important development milestones.

“We are looking at events as a whole and how we can speak more to our fans and continue to wow them. The timing of PSX and E3 didn’t allow for that,” Clark commented.

“But lots of exciting things to come, and we hope to share shortly. Some of our biggest games will have key milestones next year so we will work hard to blow those up.”

So: no PlayStation Experience 2018, no E3 2019, but things are moving the way they should, Sony says.

The fact those are so generic, anyway, does seem to be hinting that some of the titles like Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II and maybe even Death Stranding are being worked on as cross-gen.
