It’s been a while since we’ve heard more about Cyberpunk 2077, but the game is still one of the most anticipated around.
Since its showcase between E3 and Gamescom 2018, CD Projekt RED has provided more information from time to time, and this time we have more about quests.
Quests will have the relevant role not only to move the story forward, but also provide more details about the world we’re playing in.
“It’s a major goal of ours to make sure all of our quests say something about the world,” Patrick Mills told PC Gamer.
“Sometimes we’ll just want to explain how something works and build a quest around that. Other times we’ll be going deeper into a theme that’s only touched on in the story. Or maybe it’s driven by character and the quest is built around a personal journey,” he added.
“Our quests are about building the world, setting the mood, and exploring themes,” Mills concluded, which is probably one of the things we’ll find more interesting in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is indeed going to be facing themese that will be relevant to the players, like the meaning of being human itself, and more.
As for a release date or window, CDPR is not committing to any particular timeframe: it’ll still take some time before the game is ready for launch.
