New reports let us know how many units PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch have shipped across the world as of December.
According to Walmart Canada’s tech editor, who goes by the name The Hunter on Twitter, PS4 has shipped as many units as 90 million.
The official count of shipped units as of October 2018 is 86 million, so it would be an additional 4 million in a matter of two months.
For what matters Nintendo Switch, the console has reportedly achieved a 25 million units milestone, which is up from the official 23 million count we have been provided in October.
That would mean Nintendo has managed to ship 2 more million units in two months, and that it has three more months to achieve the 30 million units target it is pursuing by the end of the FY in March.
Again, these aren’t official numbers by Sony nor Nintendo, but we’re very close to what could be coming in terms of sales for the past three months.
We’ll be updated on the matter very soon, as both the company are coming with their official reports as early as this month, before the FY wraps up in March.
