According to a new prediction from Michael Pachter, a new Nintendo Switch model will be released in 2019.

The new model has been rumored to be in the making a few times already, but this time around we have a prediction of what it could be like.

Pachter claims the new model will only be handheld and will be coming at a much cheaper price of 199 dollars.

“Nintendo will launch a fully handheld version of the Switch at $199,” he told GamesIndustry in his usual rush of predictions for the beginning of the new year.

“I expect the device to have the same screen, but with Joy Cons built into the body and no docking station.

Since it can’t ‘switch’ from handheld to console, it’s hard to guess what they will call it, but let’s assume Game Boy (kidding).”

This is one of those predictions from the analyst which you could believe to turn true at the end of the day.

Nintendo needs to have a cheaper model out there and one that families could be willing to buy for their kids, something the current and more expensive version doesn’t.

Could this be the way to unlock this achievement?
