Resident Evil 4, what a masterpiece. One of the few cornerstones in the modern video games history, released for almost any platform you have at home.
Most recently, The Last of Us director Bruce Straley has shared his passion with the game in a couple of tweets.
That’s not out of nowhere, as Straley has just got back to the title by Capcom on his GameCube and documented his latest journey with it.
Interestingly, among the tweets he shared, he posted a photo with him, The Last of Us co-director Neil Druckmann and Resident Evil 4’s Shinji Mikami.
“Best opening fight in any game, hands down. I can’t believe how intense this fight still is! Audio is creepy,” he said.
“Managing your resources is a challenge. You can barricade doors in 2005?! And the frickin chainsaw guy?! In the first main fight??! Epic!”
He dubbed Mikami “god of gameplay”, reporting of how much he values the work he did on the Resident Evil franchise.
A few weeks ago, Bruce Straley himself shared a comment about Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay, which he finds a bit limiting.
