We’ve known for quite a while now, since the days of the Halo Online mod, that Microsoft is working on some Halo effort for the PC platform.
While Halo Infinite will be the first game in the history of the franchise to release on PC upon the same date of the Xbox version, there’s apparently something more on the way.
Apparently, Microsoft is doing things in a great style by bringing the entire series on the platform via The Master Chief Collection.
Based on a new report, indeed, the collection featuring Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 could be revealed for PC at E3 2019.
“Not sure if it’ll be an E3 release, but it could be announced at E3. It’s an open secret they’re working on the MCC for PC,” insider Brad Sams said in a new video.
“I’m hearing that it’s getting close to release,” he added about the timing for a release, which rather hints at a 2019 launch.
Interestingly, the entire package is available as part of the subscription to Xbox Game Pass, so you won’t need to buy it again in case you are a member.
