Gearbox Software, the developers of the Borderlands series and other popular franchises, continues to tease more news for PAX East.

Last week, Gearbox hinted about new game announcements for the upcoming PAX event. One of their teases even suggested that a new Borderlands game is going to be announced.

On Twitter today, the company showed an image of Duke Nukem and Ishi Sato from Bulletstorm. Bulletstorm is an over-the-top first-person shooter that was originally released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Gearbox owns the rights to Duke Nukem, and was one of the developers of the ill-fated Duke Nukem Forever. Gearbox also worked on the PS4 and Xbox One version of Bulletstorm that is labeled as the Full Clip Edition.

The photo appears to tease that new information on the Duke Nukem and Bulletstorm franchise is going to be reveal at PAX East. While a brand new game from either of the franchise is a possibility, a more likely prospect is that Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is being ported to the Switch. The Full Clip Edition had DLC that allowed players to play as Duke Nukem.

More information will be reveal at PAX East. This year’s PAX will start on the 28, and Gearbox Software plans to have a panel on the first day.
