Sony has just released a brand new firmware update for PS4.
The update brings the system software up to the version 6.51 for your console, even though it doesn’t look like it’s changing a lot of the features included.
Indeed, according to the official changelog, “this system software update improves system performance,” which is just the regular description for firmware updates.
When Sony deploys an update which is working behind the scenes, this is the description you would receive, indeed.
Most probably, it’s going to fix some exploits in order to prevent the console from being pirated, or whatever.
Anyway, it’s not implementing anything new for your PlayStation 4, but just make sure you download it before you start to play.
We’ll, err, update you as soon as more information about the system software pop up on the Internet right now.
