Later this month, Nintendo Switch will get its fair share of Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay, and it won’t feature a massive downgrade as you might expect.
In a rapid-fire interview with Game Informer, series creator Ed Boon has indeed made it clear that the game will be “looking great” on the platform.
According to Ed Boon, there won’t be a downgrade in terms of performance, as the version will still be running at 60fps as the main platforms.
He even precised that there won’t be any blurry backgrounds or any other very noticeable stuff downgraded in comparison with PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The port is not being handled internally at NetherRealm Studios, but it’s been handed over at the guys at Shiver Studios.
Back in the days, Boon was rather clear in detail that it was a “co-development” with no lead platforms.
So, we’ll hopefully see the fruits of this co-development process with all the platforms in line later this month when Mortal Kombat 11 releases.
