The Avengers Project has gone missing since its original announcement in early 2017, and while you could’ve been expecting a new reveal in time for the launch of the final MCU movie Endgame it’ll still do for quite some time, it seems.
Thanks to the latest job listings at developer Crystal Dynamics, we can have more specific ideas about what the game could be when it releases at an unspecified date or window.
As shared by users on ResetEra, we learn that the game will be a third person action adventure, with melee combat, cover shooting, stealth and boss fights.
“Design responsibilities include but are not limited to Enemy AI, combat behaviors, stealth, player weapons and tools, cover and melee based mechanics,” says one of the listings.
“Experience spec-ing and tuning particular combat game systems such as difficulty, weapon aim,” adds the one seeking Combat System Designers. “Current on industry trends as it relates to modern combat design for 3rd person action adventure games.”
As we mentioned Endgame, it could not be too late to take advantage of the hype for the movie as publisher Square Enix will hold a video presentation for E3 2019 in June and the game, together with long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake, could be among the titles involved.
