After a teaser that was released over the weekend, Kojima Productions has confirmed a new Death Stranding trailer is dropping on May 29, 2019.
To be more specific, the official Twitter account of the studio talks about a “countdown” that has started and will be over on May 29.
The word ‘trailer’ is never mentioned, but we do know Hideo Kojima has been working on a trailer for quite a while now, thanks to his previous teasing.
On top of that, shortly after the original teaser, analyst Daniel Ahmad (who was well informed about State of Play’s Final Fantasy VII Remake return) had shared that a PS4 exclusive would be showing up in the coming week with a trailer.
So, we’re quite sure that’s it, even though with Kojima involved you can never be fully sure about what’s coming, especially in terms of content.
The teaser and the incoming trailer are all about the tagline “Create the Rope,” so it could be about time that Death Stranding reveals its much debated (but never seen around) multiplayer component.
Since the reveal of the game, indeed, Kojima has insisted that the title would be about uniting gamers and creating bonds, so this trailer, if it shares more on this topic, could be fundamental in understanding what DS is all about.
Make sure you stay tuned on May 29 because one of the biggest mysteries in gaming is about to be unraveled, and that’s an event you won’t want to miss.
