Quite frantic days for Death Stranding, as we get closer and closer to the latest trailer in a row announced for May 29, 2019.
Since the announcement of the trailer, Kojima Productions has posted two different teasers which give us an idea of what’s to come.
The original teaser was all about “create the rope,” which looked a rather clear hint at the multiplayer component of the game.
Hideo Kojima himself has always discussed the way he wanted the game to connect people, which could be similar to the nuke theme in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
It would be more like cooperation between all the players in the game, rather than a competition or a straight co-op mode.
Now, we have a brand new teaser that is hinting the same thing. This time around, it claims “help us reconnect.”

As said, Kojima has talked in the past about bonds that would have been created between players and characters in the story, so it could be the right time for him to show what he was discussing all along finally.
The things we’re going to see could be more linked to proper gameplay than a story, this time around, as the Death Stranding mystery could be about to be solved.
Of course, there’s also a chance we get to learn the release window or even date for the title, so our fingers are crossed.
We don’t expect it to be out in 2019, but one between it and The Last of Us Part II could do that, as previously rumored.
