Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer could be releasing as early as this week. The game has been spotted among the incoming titles list on Nintendo eShop’s datamine, which could mean that it is dropping sooner rather than later.
Cadence of Hyrule, a crossover game between indie Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda series, has been announced a couple of months ago in a Nindie presentation.
Now, the title is featuring a May 31 placeholder date in the Nintendo eShop files, as discovered by Twitter user Nikki.
“Cadence of Hyrule has a May 31st placeholder date so theoretically it’ll come out in the next ~2 months,” says Nikki.
That’s a rather cautious take on the release date since it’s a Friday and that could be rather well the actual release date, not just a placeholder.
“They probably didn’t give a concrete date since this is still very much in development and ironing it out takes longer with an indie team,” he adds.
Anyway, there’s a chance we won’t have to wait much more for the game to drop, as Nintendo could be planning a surprise launch later this week.
