Evidence has been found that the new Call of Duty might be coming to Nintendo Switch.
There appears to be some evidence that the new Call of Duty game might just be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The fine folks over at Bad Five have been having a good look at the code for the Call of Duty website, and they found something interesting.
In the site’s code, they found references to the Nintendo Switch, a reference to support for the system resolution of 720p, and a reference to “nxdock,” so the Switch dock.
While it is not exactly hard evidence of the game coming out on the system, these details were not on the site a few months ago. Part of me thinks this is all just stuff that you would need to do to ensure smooth viewing of the website itself on the Switch, but you also have to wonder how many people they expect to randomly view the site on their Switch unless they have a reason too.
It seems we will be finding out more about the game today after a teaser was posted to the Call of Duty website yesterday. The teaser featured today’s date, and the time 10 am PT, so perhaps we will find out if the new entry in the long-running series will be coming to the Nintendo Switch then. The platform currently has no Call of Duty games, but now that it is approaching nearly 40 million units sold, it is surely worthwhile to bring the new game to the system?
