Hidetaka Miyazaki and George RR Martin team up for some fantasy fun.
Elden Ring is the confirmed title of the collaboration between From Software and George RR Martin. The game is getting published by Bandai Namco and releases for Xbox One and PC. The game got shown during the Microsoft showcase, PS4 was not confirmed, but it is a safe best as none one said anything about it being an exclusivity.

The reveal trailer strongly implies the game will be keeping firmly inline with From Software’s history of telling elaborate tales of fantasy and despair. We know little about the game at this point, and the shock of the reveal was marred somewhat by leaks from the Bandai Namco website this week.
From Software are best known for their Soulsborne games, spanning the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, and the recent Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Martin is the author of the series of books, A Song of Ice and Fire, which form the basis for the hit TV show Game of Thrones.
A collaboration between the two has been rumored for a while now, with Martin dropping hints on his blog about consulting on a video game in Japan. The pairing does make some sense, Miyazaki and his team are known for developing games with strangely interwoven worlds and personal relationships, while Martin brings a wealth of skill when it comes to developing lore between interconnected groups and regions. I am expecting good things from this game, and cannot wait to learn more.
