There’s a new rumor going around coming from Reddit user Throwaway11113454 who revealed lots of information involving Rockstar Games’ plans for the Red Dead Redemption intellectual property.

We can’t confirm whether this rumor will end up being real or fake. We’ve certainly wanted a remake for this game for quite a bit of time, especially given the success behind Red Dead Redemption 2.

We’re talking about a remake of the original Red Dead Redemption, which – according to the rumor, via GamesRadar – is said to be coming our way on December 2020 or January 2021. The rumor points to the game may release for the game’s tenth anniversary, but it got delayed.

The RDR remake would release with gameplay features and graphics updates inherited from the much-praised Red Dead Redemption 2. Additionally, it would come with new voice work from the main cast to recognize Arthur Morgan’s presence in the story due to not knowing about him before the sequel.

It’s stuff that we’d love to see coming. However, it could be entirely made up for the sake of trolling people on the internet. In any case, it would also serve as a right occasion for making up for the game’s absence from the PC platform, in our opinion, so why not.
